This was my house at Christmas time.  25 inches fell.  I left my bug in the garage for two weeks and let my wife give me a ride to work.  It was also rather chilly outside.  Highs for the day were maybe 10 degrees BELOW zero F.

it's photos like this that make me think of the movie Alive.

Keep it driving, salt or no salt, nice thing is here, that there is short of salt to prefend slippery roads, so lot of ice on the roads but no salt better fot my beetle just be carefull in turns, wants to go straight on everytime.

Been her one of most cold winters since years long tme ago we so many snow(global warming???)
strange thing is it started snowing here day after climate conference in Kopenhagen in  December 2009, so world leaders dit a good job there :P
Thats why i keep  driving my beetle, make sure i help to warm climat a bit up, so we dont have more of these cold winters ;D

nice thing of beetle is the great heating it gets very fast warm inside.
Only battery has problems with the cold, after few days standing still it wont start anymore if its -10C.
using it daily there is no problem.
Oh and shifter points/contacts freezing after driving a while?

But its still fun to drive in these conditions!!

It's been cold and rainy here is south Oregon!  I finally gave up and raised the top on my '71 vert.
I even bought a pair of electric gloves for motorcycle riding.  No more "White Finger".  The sun is shining today tho,  so I think I'll go for a ride!  I hope things cool off a bit down there,  Lee.
